This video should be fun to watch.(And I don't just mean seeing Kelly Johnson of CSN Washington, either...lol)
No, this is Drew Storen/Tyler Clippard/etc.--aka the Nats' bullpen--talking about the upcoming season.Video: The Nats' dominant bullpen
Now I can't wait for Opening Day to get here...
Writing about the Nats, from the perspective of a (UN-reconstruted)Senators fan of the '60s. Hey, this is why I waited 34 years for baseball to come BACK to D.C.: so I can write about it!! Now if I can just get people to READ the damned thing...LMAO

Strasmas 2.0 begins now
Sharing is caring...which is why this link from Nats Insider appears here.
Strasburg to start March 4 vs. Astros
At any rate, the Stephen Strasburg "Legion of Doom and Destruction Tour" starts in earnest next week in Viera.
You've been properly warned, MLB Nation...LMAO

Find a place...
As long as Anthony Rendon understands he AIN'T replacing Ryan Zimmerman any time soon...I'm cool with him finding some other position to break in once he gets to Washington full-time.
Rendon will work out across infield
Just not 3B...for the time being.

Hey, Strasburg's ready...lol
As long as he gets the job done this year, who gives a rat's ass how many innings Strasmas puts up?
I just love how the "experts" now start calling the Nats contenders. Really? Where were you bastards LAST year?
At any rate, let spring training commence!!

Spring training beckons
Just read the article, gang.
How the Nats were assembled
Who'd a-thunk it? "Nats" and "contender", in the same sentence?
I like the sound of that...

At WHAT cost?
The Edwin Jackson signing, as reported in the St Louis Post-Dispatch. While I'm surprised the Nats pulled this off, I'm still not happy.
Why? Because now John Lannan is being dangled as trade bait. What's wrong with having BOTH these guys in the rotation?
I thought the idea was for the Nats to be competitive. Shipping out Lannan DOES NOT make us that!!
Christ, let's get to spring training already...

Does this ROCK, or what?
Just HAD to pass this along. It looks SO DAMN COOL!!
BTW, I got that last tidbit of info courtesy of the Baseball America 2012 Almanac...which the lovely people @ MLB Insiders Club sent me in the mail today. (One of the perks of having a life membership...lol) Anyway, just finished reading it before I hit the 'puter tonight.
A short note on Livan Hernandez:He signed a minor league deal with the Astros yesterday (Tuesday), so his dream of finishing his career in the Nats' bullpen goes bye-bye. But there's always the possibility he could be back in D.C. in time for Opening Day...who knows?
At any rate, since I tried to post this last night (via my cell phone, using Bloggeroid)--and failed
Adios, Livo. You made it fun (and aggravating) for us Nats fans while you were here...BOTH go-rounds!! I don't know what we'll miss more, the slow deliberate windup or laying down sac bunts.
Either way, we'll remember you as...a Nat always!!Garyposted from Bloggeroid
Lineups?
Well, we DO have 3-4 weeks (till spring training) to get this lineup situated. But a question I have:
Are the Nats brass delusional, or do they SERIOUSLY believe Mike Cameron can help this club?
I mean, WHO'S trying to bullshit who? Seriously?
